  • Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit, Professional editions only)

  • Graphics: OpenGL 3.3 compatible board, minimum resolution 1920x1080, 65,000+ colors

  • Memory: 4 GB RAM

Recommended Hardware Specifications

  • Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • Graphics: 512 MB+ onboard RAM, AMD Radeon Pro or NVIDIA RTX/Quadro series with latest WHQL drivers

  • Memory: 32 GB RAM

  • Storage: SSD

ToolStore Server Requirements

The installer will automatically add these if missing:

  • .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (includes 2.0)

  • .NET Framework 4

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables: 2008, 2010, 2013

Live Job Reports

  • Supported OS: Windows 7 / 8 / Server 2008–2016 (not XP or Server 2003)

  • Supported Browsers: IE 11, Edge, Chrome 28+, Firefox 22+

Additional Notes

  • GIBBSCAM may install on ‘Home’ editions, but this is not recommended. Issues on these editions may not be supported.

  • Sentinel RMS License Server: Runs on Windows 7, 8.1, and Server up to 2019. Network licenses can be used on virtual servers if locked to a USB key. Single-seat licenses cannot.

  • Multiple GIBBSCAM versions on a single machine with limited user rights or UAC may cause Simulator issues.

  • Simulator: Requires Administrator privileges during installation. Re-registration may fail without these rights.

  • ToolStore Server & GIBBSCAM: Domain controllers are not supported (SQL limitations).

  • SQL Drives: Avoid 4K sector drives due to known Microsoft SQL issues.

  • Older Windows versions (XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 8 RT) are not supported.

  • SQL Express 2014: 1 GB memory limit, 10 GB database size limit. Job images can be extracted via tsadmin /ExtractJim to avoid performance issues. Ensure adequate server memory for larger databases.
